MVC

Today was a rather slow one, given that I spent the better part of it simply organizing all of the tasks that I’ve got to do, scheduling out my workday, and getting better hold of how the company functions and everyone that works in it. I have really just begun getting into the nitty gritty of Haxxor News. Having first cloned a starting App from Heroku’s online tutorials for getting things setup was not the best idea, because now I have to put effort into deleting components I will not be needing. I now realize that Hacker News is a link aggregator site, so all that I will actually need to be doing to get my first task out of the way (deploying a basic layout and allowing article posting functionality) is to model an article (users will come later). Eli and I met earlier today, and I’m excited to get to learn more about how I can integrate tests to my app and approach it with more of a test driven development mindset.
